Coronavirus - infection control
Coronavirus - guidelines regarding appointments in our surgery.
Dear Patient,
Due to the significant increase in COVID-19, flu, and Strep A infections, taking in mind the safety of all our visitors, please read the guidelines below:
WE’D LIKE TO ASK ALL THE PATIENTS AND OTHER VISITORS TO WEAR MASKS WITHIN THE PRACTICE AREA.
We kindly request that you come to your consultation alone (except for a parent or guardian of an underage or vulnerable person). During the consultation, accompanying persons will be asked to wait outside of the building.
*In case of an underage or vulnerable person, only one of the parents/guardians will be invited into the consultation room.
Thank you for your understanding. Fewer people can help minimise the risk of spreading possible infections.
If you have symptoms of new continuous cough or temperature of 37.8 C or higher, or if you had contact with a person potentially infected with coronavirus (COVID-19), please DO NOT MAKE ANY APPOINTMENT at our surgery, DO NOT COME to our surgery, and stay at home. If your symptoms are serious, please visit 111.nhs.uk or call NHS 111 (if the website access is not possible).
IMPORTANT - withholding this information is a serious offence and can be prosecuted by PHE (Public Health England).
