Every patient before the consultation has to show proof of identity at the reception. This policy applies to all patients equally. Proof of identity should be a document with a picture (such as an ID card, passport or driving licence), but other form of identity may be acceptable on manager’s discretion. The presented document must be valid, current and original. On a follow-up visit and on every further visit proof of identity will be also checked at the reception.

Parents or guardians registering their child for an appointment have to present theirs and their child’s proof of identity at the reception supported by a birth certificate, child’s health records (‘red book’) or other document. On a follow-up visit and on every further visit proof of parental responsibility will be also checked at the reception.

If the person who attends a consultation with a child has no parental responsibility over them, they have to sign a ‘confirmation of a temporary responsibility’. This document has to be returned to our practice prior to the consultation, signed by the child’s parents.

Usually you can see our paediatricians, dentists, gynaecologists and GPs every day (apart from Sunday) in London. Consultation time is set up directly with each patient. Services

We do not offer medical consultations via e-mail or phone. Our doctors have to see every patient, ask about medical history and examine them in order to properly diagnose the problem and to plan treatment. Please contact our reception to book an appointment with one of our specialists:

You can also find useful information regarding some medial problems in our library.

You can find a full list of our services by checking a selected doctor’s profile on our website. If you’re still not sure if the selected specialist can help you with your problem, please call our reception. In some cases, we have to consult a doctor. Please check the PATIENT GUIDE on our website.

We offer consultations with a GP and you are welcome to book an appointment with this doctor whenever you need it. However, we always suggest our patients register with a GP through the NHS. This way, if necessary, you have an opportunity to be referred for specific examinations, to hospital or to see a specialist who doesn’t consult in our surgery. Every resident of Great Britain should be registered with a GP. You can find a local GP service through this link http://www.nhs.uk/servicedirectories/Pages/ServiceSearch.aspx?ServiceType=GP . Registering process requires identity and address confirmation. More details are available at your local GP surgery.

We offer blood and urine tests in both our surgeries, in London and Coventry. All tests are carried out by experienced diagnosticians in Nationwide Pathology laboratory. You can find a full list of available tests in the price list on our website.

We suggest an earlier consultation with one of our specialists who can advise what test should be done and will interpret the results.

In both our surgeries we also offer a HPV DNA and cervical smear test (performed by our gynaecologists).

Yes, our doctors are enabled to write fit notes for the patients if required, using a “Statement of Fitness for Work” form. Although, because we are a private medical practice, employers are not obliged to accept a fit note issued by our doctors and may ask for an NHS one. Usually though, our forms are accepted.

We do not offer MRI or CT scans. There is a dental X-ray available in London surgery as well as ultrasound scans. Please check available scans with selected specialist on our website.

On consultation our specialists can refer you for a test such as MRI or CT scan. You will have to pay for this test in the facility where it is performed.

At the moment we do not offer any vaccinations in our surgeries.

We do not offer any medical service outside our opening hours. If you have an urgent medical problem please choose accordingly:

Non-life-threatening emergencies

If it is not a life-threatening emergency and you or the person you are with does not need immediate medical attention, please consider the following options:

Choose the best service for your needs, as this will ensure the ambulance service is able to respond to the people who need help the most. You can also call NHS 111 if you're not sure which NHS service you need.

Dental emergency and out-of-hours care

If you need urgent treatment, please contact NHS 111 for advice on where you can get urgent care.

Life-threatening emergencies

Call 999 in a medical emergency – when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Medical emergencies can include:

Call 999 immediately if you or someone else is having a heart attack or stroke. Every second counts with these conditions. Also call 999 if you think someone has had a major trauma. Major trauma is often the result of a serious road traffic accident, a stabbing, a shooting, a fall from height, or a serious head injury.

Find out more about major trauma services.

Visiting an A&E department

An A&E department (also known as emergency department or casualty) deals with genuine life-threatening emergencies, such as:

Less severe injuries can be treated in urgent care centres or minor injuries units (MIUs). An A&E is not an alternative to a GP appointment. If your GP practice is closed you can call NHS 111, which will direct you to the best local service to treat your injury. Alternatively, you can visit an NHS walk-in centre (WIC), which will also treat minor illnesses without an appointment.

How to find your nearest A&E?

Not all hospitals have an A&E department. You can use the find services search to see if there is one near you. Alternatively, many hospitals have their own website and generally describe the urgent and emergency care services they offer.
